The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Maltroie is promising, offering up aromas of pear, crisp green apple, lime zest, freshly baked bread and wet stones. The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet La Maltroye 1er Cru offers touches of white flower and dried honey on the nose, gaining intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, quite linear and maybe even conservative towards the finish.
