Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Her Majesty’s Secret Service Stagecoach Vineyard (a barrel sample) gives up classic scents of cassis, plums and cedar with suggestions of underbrush, black tea and tapenade. Full-bodied and very tightly wound with firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, it finishes long and lifted. A November 2021 release date is expected. [02/01/2021]
