The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets has turned out brilliantly in bottle. Mingling aromas of citrus zest, pear and mandarin orange with notions of nutmeg, freshly baked bread and white flowers, it’s medium to full-bodied, ample and incisive, with prodigious levels of concentration, racy acids and chalky structuring extract.
