The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is a potent, brooding wine. Plum, black cherry, bittersweet chocolate, cloves and mocha add to an impression of virile intensity. Deep and yet inward, the Georges III is likely to require a number of years in bottle to hit its stride. I imagine it will always be a pretty imposing wine. [Antonio Galloni, 01/07/2022]
