“A Garnacha Tintorera (with 5% Mencía) from centenary vines, the 2019 La Viña que en su día era de la casa is sold without appellation of origin because Ribeira Sacra does not allow more than 25% Garnacha Tintorera in its wines. It has the dusty rusticity of the variety with the old-vine concentration, depth and clout, and it has 12.5% alcohol and very good freshness but lacks a little in the mid-palate.
