The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru has the most complete bouquets this year: a wonderful melange of yellow fruit, crushed stone, honeysuckle and a touch of blackcurrant leaf. The palate is very well balanced with a complex opening, hints of white peach and nectarine. There is a fine line of acidity here and just the right amount of salinity on the finish.
