The 2017 Vosne-Romanee Les Hautes Maizieres, from vines that more or less back onto the walls of Clos Vougeot, contains 80% whole bunches. The harmonious bouquet of red currant and cranberry fruit reveals touches of crushed stone and forest floor. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin, a perfect line of acidity and beautiful focus, plus a tang of spice toward the structured finish. Superb. [Neal Martin, 10/01/2019]

The 2017 Vosne-Romanee Hautes-Maizieres offers up aromas of cherries, raspberries, potpourri, blood orange and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and sapid palate that’s richer and more layered than the domaine’s regular Vosne bottling, with succulent acids and fragrant finish.
