"There are five barrels of the 2016 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Reignots, which Sebastien mentioned was not touched by the frost. It has a graceful, elegant bouquet that unfolds in the glass: precise scents of raspberry and black cherry fruit interlaced by minerals and hints of wilted violet petals. The oak here is very nicely subsumed. The palate is underpinned by succulent tannin, lovely crisp black and red fruit with an almost clinical, precise, focused finish.
