On the palate, the wine is broad and expansive, with a velvety chassis of tannin, immense depth at the core, and a long, dramatic finish. Healthy dark red. Captivating lift to the aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, tobacco and rose petal. Wonderfully creamy, concentrated, energetic wine, utterly silky and seamless. Seductively sweet but not a bit heavy, offering excellent precision to its thick flavors of dark raspberry and spices. Finishes very long and suave, with substantial firm yet almost creamy tannins.
