The 2015 Pluribus is a powerful mountain wine. Dried cherry, leather, sage, tobacco, incense and graphite gradually reveal themselves with a little coaxing. The more heavily extracted style BOND favored at the time is evident, and yet it all works quite well here. There’s a boatload of tannin, so readers should be prepared to open this well in advance.
