One of the highlights in this range, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard is superb. Beams of tannin give the 2014 its rich, explosive personality. Creme de cassis, graphite, gravel, smoke, licorice and blueberry jam hit the palate. Exuberant and yet also structured, the 2014 is shaping up to be a real gem.
