2014 Domaine Jean Grivot, Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru, Aux Boudots 1x750ml

The 2014 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Boudots was quite reduced on the nose when I tasted it, more than other 2014s. The palate is underpinned by fine tannin, very structured and with plenty of finesse. I very much like the acidity here and the elegance that even the reduction does not disguise. Long and tender in the mouth, this is a classy Boudots in the making. One of Etienne’s more feminine wines. [Neal Martin, 28/09/2017]
