The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru les Goulots has a very well defined bouquet with a subtle marine influence infusing the red and black fruit. It blossoms nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, quite crisp in the mouth and nicely structured with a touch of tobacco on the saline finish. I love this — very regal and with the substance to age.
