The 2012 Pluribus is the most evolved of these wines. Vinification in barrel softened some of the mountain edges at the outset but also marked the wine in its flavor profile, while the greater exchange with oxygen also matured the wine perhaps a bit faste [Antonio Galloni, 09/05/2024]

From a 7-acre parcel on Spring Mountain, the 2012 Pluribus Proprietary Red Wine exhibits the white flowers (acacia?), blueberry and black raspberry fruit that comes from this high elevation site. It is full-bodied but very tannic, backward, coiled and relatively tight, behaving in that sense more like a 2013 than a 2012. This wine is set for a long life of 30+ years.
