(100% new oak; from 90-year-old vines that produced just 22 hectoliters per hectare in 2010, according to Tremblay): Bright deep ruby-red. Ripe aromas of musky black fruits, minerals, chocolate, game and sweet oak. Sweet, sappy and deep if a bit youthfully reduced (this finished its malo very late), with concentrated cherry and berry flavors carrying through to the very long, supple finish.
