(domain bottling): Good full red. Complex, scented nose offers medicinal red cherry, licorice, menthol, flowers and Asian spices. Supple and very ripe but at the same time quite taut, with lovely inner-mouth perfume and a light touch to the flavors of dark berry preserves and spices. Densely packed but not at all heavy, finishing with suave tannins and lingering minerality. Very young today. [Stephen Tanzer, 01/03/2012]

This has a fresh bouquet of red cherry, orange peel and a touch of fresh vine tomato. Good definition here. The palate is medium-bodied, just a little muffled on the entry, layers of fleshy, oaky red-berried fruit but missing that killer delineation on the finish. Tasted January 2011. [01/01/2011]
