The pure weight of the 50+ year-old vines comes through in the 2006 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru L’Avizoise. A rich, weighty wine, the Avizoise covers every inch of the palate with stunning depth and sheer power. This is a decidedly creamy, textured wine from Agrapart built on volume and three-dimensional complexity. The Avizoise is made from Les Robards and Voie d’Epernay, fermented in neutral 600-liter barrels and bottled with four grams of dosage. Disgorged June 2012.
Anticipated maturity: 2013-2021
