This is such an elegant, natural nose with crushed stones that remind me of hiking across the Lake District on a rainy Monday morning in my youth. Just that smell of Mother Nature. The palate has just a slight hint of honey on the entry, moderate acidity with a refined, almost laid back chalky finish that does not quite have the persistency I was hoping for. Still, a lovely Puligny. Drink 2012-2020. Tasted November 2009. [01/11/2009]
