Good red-ruby color. Black fruits, licorice and spices on the nose. Tightly wound but already quite aromatic in the mouth, hinting at pepper, spices and flowers. Very subtle, refined Echezeaux, finishing with lingering flavors of berries, licorice and spice. [Stephen Tanzer, 03/01/2005]
