Medium red. High-toned aromas of raspberry, mint and licorice. Larger-scaled but less pliant than the village wine, with lovely elegance but distinctly restrained sweetness of fruit. Finishes with very suave tannins. I like this style. [Stephen Tanzer, 01/03/2005]
