The 2000 Nenin is a vintage that I last tasted three years ago. It’s very similar now, those traits of violet and camphor still infusing the red fruit and a touch of iron rust and truffle emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and peppery, with a rustic opening and coarse tannins. An unapologetically old-school Pomerol through and through. [Neal Martin, 22/09/2021]

Full-bodied and powerful, but still tannic, structured, and backward, the 2000 Nenin possesses a dark ruby/plum color as well as a sweet nose of boysenberries, earth, flowers, and truffles. It requires another 4-5 years of bottle age, and should keep for 20 years thereafter. [29/06/2010]
