Showing traces of oak yet there is more than ample concentration and seve to offset the oak over time. There is a genuinely wonderful range of flavors present with a long, powerful, lingering finish. This is quite dense for the vintage and displays abundant Vosne spice. [Allen Meadows, 01/01/2002]
