The Bordeaux bench is especially strong, led by 2008 Pétrus, 2005 Haut-Brion, 2009 Cheval Blanc, 2009 Lafite Rothschild and 2010 Latour. For Champagne and Rhône, there are 2002 Dom Pérignon and 2003 Jamet Côte-Rôtie Côte Brune, both right in the sweet spot for drinking now.

Large formats bring some extra game-day energy, including a 3L of 2020 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot, a 3L of 2008 Ornellaia, and a 1.5L of 2022 Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
