Bits and Pieces

I love digging through last bottle bins. I’ve always found great wines and have discovered new producers that weren’t on my radar. Since we don’t have a storefront, I’m unable to provide a last bottle bin, but consider this the digital version of that! Since we essentially only deal with great collectibles, let’s just say our last bottle bin is amazing.

We spent our summer stocking up on blue chip Burgundy, and shockingly we still have some major gems sitting around. How about 4 vintages of Cathiard’s glorious Malconsorts? Or a bevy of Roumier that includes Bonnes-Mares and Amoureuses. There is so much more than that, encompassing Bachelet, Cecile Tremblay, Comtes Lafon, DRC, Dujac, Leflaive, Meo-Camuzet, Mugnier, Rousseau, and Emmanuel Rouget!

Bordeaux’s hit parade is full of legends, spanning a pair of magical 1989s (Haut-Brion and Montrose), with some serious gems from Lafite, Latour and Margaux, while Pétrus enters the conversation with a pair of future 100-point legends. Champagne is nicely represented with exceptional bottlings from Bollinger, DP, Roederer’s Cristal and Salon! California has a few gems, hailing from Colgin, Marcassin and Screaming Eagle to cap off a glorious offer.
