Following last Friday’s Rhône offer, we’re back with a small yet mighty addendum, which we’re sure will sell out in under an hour. As you may have noticed, we had a great run of outrageous six-pack deals not long ago, but then the well dried up. So when we received an offer of one of Côte Rotie’s most iconic wines, we pounced immediately, and today share our bounty with you at an amazing price.

Guigal is indisputably one of the best producers in Côte Rotie. Their trio of La Landonne, La Mouline and La Turque are legendary bottlings, endlessly sought after all over the globe. Sometimes lost in the glare of their celebrity status, however, is another historic bottling: Château d’Ampuis. This nearly millennium-old château has seen times and events that we can only dream of, but its most recent iteration began in 1995 with the Guigal family’s purchase, as it’s now home to the famous wine family’s headquarters. Guigal spent almost 5 years restoring the property, with a team of nearly 100 people, to bring it to its original majesty, and make it a suitable home for living legends.

Suffice to say that if Guigal was willing to invest so much time, money, and energy into this property, there’s clearly value in it. In fact, the vineyards around the winery are now producing some of the best wines dollar-for-dollar in all of Côte Rotie. We’re thrilled to offer 9 six-packs of the 2017 today, and for only $100 per bottle. This vintage was adored by critics, and with its little bit of age already, is drinking gorgeously with a decant. For the patient, however, there are two decades of extraordinary development waiting to be enjoyed.
