The holidays can be rough on stemware; if you are like us, you may have lost a few this past season. Now is the time to replenish your collection with the exquisite, handblown glasses of Grassl. Grassl has received numerous accolades for their ability to marry featherweight elegance with extreme durability while delivering an unparalleled, ethereal drinking experience.

We are pleased to offer both the Vigneron Series- a weightless and functional design to capture the winemaker’s intended signature, and the Elemental Series – durable, functional, and mouth-blown glassware for the casual wine taster. Both are hand-blown and lead-free, and no fewer than 5 craftspeople (each who must have 20 years of experience in glassmaking) are responsible for the painstaking creation of each glass.

We enthusiastically test-drove both the Vigneron and the Elemental and put these incredible glasses through their paces at our Chicago holiday BYO event; from multiple festive gatherings to weeknight dinners and dishwasher cycles; and some not-so-gentle bumps against granite, marble, slate, and glass tabletops. The Vigneron decanter performed beautifully – incredibly sleek, lightweight, and balanced, and made filling and pouring seamlessly easy.

Our conclusion? Grassl is a revelation! Throughout all our combined years of sharing, pouring, and consuming wine from myriad stemware, we agree that no other glass provides both a rarified and deeply aromatic experience that Grassl can while standing up to frequent use.
