In-Stock US Cults & Classics

Now and Later

Hello Collectors,

We’ve been neglecting the fruits of our own land lately, so I’m happy to turn our attention back to California and Washington for today’s offer. And after Monday’s deep dive into Bordeaux, it seems only fitting to revisit some of the great American wines that take their inspiration from it. From the Bordeaux-inspired blends of Dominus, Insignia, and Vérité to the singular expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon that have made Napa famous, there’s plenty here to remind us just how well we do things on this side of the Atlantic.

And what a range of vintages! The outstanding 2012 and 2013 Napa vintages are particularly well represented, alongside 2016, 2019, and 2021s. Best of all, everything is in stock and ready to ship or transfer to your storage, and as always, provenance is paramount – everything here has been in our storage since release.

There’s a lot more to browse on our site, and I’ve got my eye on classic Cabernet from Philip Togni, Joseph Phelps’ Backus, and my favorite of of the bunch, Corison, all very much in the traditional California vein. If you are into instant gratification, don’t miss aged vintages of Dominus, Harlan’s The Maiden, and Shafer Hillside Select to highly rated recent releases for your storage from Favia, Harbison, Colgin, and Dana Estates (we won’t tell if you can’t wait to open these!). Be sure to add some excellent Peter Michael Chardonnays, including some perfectly aged bottles and magnums.

Washington gets its due, too, with the wonderfully distinctive wines of Cayuse alongside the more classically styled Cabernets of Quilceda Creek. With cooler shipping weather upon us and such a broad selection of vintages and styles in stock, it’s a particularly good time to buy for now and later!
