The Friday List - 9/6/2024
Back in the Swing
Hello Collectors,
Summer has unofficially ended (the real end is about 2 weeks away), and pumpkin spice lattes have re-emerged, but nothing is cooling off about our offers. Even better, we’ve had a ton of wine pour into the warehouse this week, so if you’ve been looking for in-stock wines to buy, today is the day to break out the credit card. There is also a tremendous assortment of new offerings, capping off a truly epic Friday List.
Today’s offer includes a wide array from a variety of highly lauded and blue-chip producers. We kick things off with a trio of top Californians—Aubert, Opus One, and Spottswoode—including a couple of 100-pointers! Burgundy shines with depth from DRC, Faiveley, Leflaive, J.F. Mugnier, and Sylvain Cathiard, many with high ratings that we so rarely see in Burgundy.
Bordeaux is chock full of great wines at great prices. We are making a strong argument that Bordeaux may be the best place to spend your money for value right now. Where else can you get 100-point wines from top producers for less than $300? Finally, the wines from our incredible Single Owner sale are now in-house. We are nearly sold out, but there is still a choice selection of amazing Italian wines that’s ready to go: Aldo Conterno, Giuseppe Mascarello, and Giuseppe Quintarelli just to name a few from this provenance-perfect, competitively priced collection.
We had some late additions to this week’s Friday List, and you can see why we rushed to add them! It’s a quartet of Super Tuscans- all rated 100 points! The Sassicaia sold out in a flash this Monday, and thankfully we were able to acquire more. We have the debut of the highly sought after 2021 Masseto and Solaia, both achieving perfection! And not to be missed is a sensational value with that magical three digit score- Percarlo!
