The Friday List - 9/20/2024

Brand New

Hello Collectors,

There’s something very nostalgic about today’s Friday list. When I started here 3 years ago, we would have large collections of wines like Hundred Acre, all adorned with 100-point scores, regularly available. Sadly, the wines have had fewer and fewer sellers as the new release prices have skyrocketed, and those lucky enough to get in on the ground floor of these cult classics want to hold them tight.

You are in luck today – as this new collection shockingly has a whopping 22 wines in today’s offer that carry a triple digit score. California’s best lead the way, stretching from the brilliant chardonnay of Aubert to the Bordeaux-inspired greatness of Verite. As I hinted above, you will find large parcels of the legendary Hundred Acre, as well as perennial stars Bryant Family, Lokoya, Marcassin and Morlet.

Finally, we’ve got a great selection of can’t miss gems in this offer- like the 2021 Realm Absurd, 2 vintages of Bartolo Mascarello and a trio of 1er Cru Chambolle-Musigny from the brilliant Ghislaine Barthod. Digging a bit further, there is highly rated Bordeaux from Canon, Cos d’Estournel and Léoville-Las Cases, and Burgundy from Domaine des Lambrays, Grivot, Lamarche, Roumier and Trapet, and Champagne to stock up on from Krug, Salon and Pierre Peters.
