The Stars Come Out

As we approach the final weeks of the summer it really is stunning how much amazing wine that we are bringing in right now. We always preach about how key it is to watch our emails and respond early, so hopefully you have your watches set properly to see today’s gem of an offer. For Tuscan fans, this one is jam packed for you, along with a robust offer from a category we so rarely see- Brunello di Montalcino. It’s worth reading on as today’s offer is wide reaching and chock full of excellent value.

Today’s selection of California wines is an incredible lineup of Burgundian varietal representation, encompassing the greatest like Marcassin, Kistler and Occidental. Cabernet hits with the two of the best from Napa- Harlan and Promontory, and all hailing from top years. This may be short and sweet of a list, but there is plenty to offer from all the above!

Tuscany takes up a good bit of today’s list, with Super Tuscan classics galore- Masseto, Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Solaia and Tignanello. The Brunello grouping is just as strong, with Biondi-Santi, Il Poggione, Poggio di Sotto and Valdicava. Not to be overlooked are two amazing values- Le Chiuse, and Padelletti, both of whom are making brilliant, classic Brunello. Piedmont should not be overlooked with powerhouses Gaja, Giacomo Conterno and Giuseppe Mascarello all well represented.

We mentioned Selosse in the subject, and we have many of the top cuvées that should definitely find a home today. Bordeaux rounds out today’s offer with a who’s who of amazing producers, and much of which is under $250 a bottle.
