The Right Kind of Heat
Hello Collectors,
For those looking to escape the heat, hopefully you’re indoors and checking out today’s offer. If you’re on the go, make sure to take a look as well, because much of today’s lineup could be gone in a blink. Many of the wines below are highly limited, and quantities have already been reduced throughout the week as people found many of the great bottles originally intended for today’s release.
Not too different from last week, we’re seeing another strong wave of incredibly well-priced wines entering their prime drinking window. A terrific Italian lineup from Casanova di Neri, Cavallotto, Quintarelli, Sandrone, Vajra, and Vietti leads the way. Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Spain also bring a great hit parade featuring Charvin, López de Heredia, Pegau, Rayas, and Vieille Julienne, including some staggering pricing on the Réserve CDP.
California shines brightly with perfectly aged Marcassin, Schrader, Screaming Eagle, and a great Vine Hill Ranch vertical. Bordeaux and Burgundy cap off the lineup with a pair of 100-pointers from L’Eglise-Clinet and Yquem, along with rarities from Dujac and Lamy-Caillat. There’s even more to explore, so make sure to browse carefully.
