Double Feature

Hello Collectors,

For longtime readers of our emails, you’ll recall a period where our offers focused solely on a country, region or just a varietal. Since we don’t like to alienate clients whose tastes don’t align with that day’s offer, we moved away from that, but given the abundance of amazing Bordeaux and Italian wines it felt right to shine a spotlight on both. With more than 30 wines rated 98 or higher, today’s offer is jam-packed with quality, pedigree and most importantly: provenance.

Today’s Bordeaux list might be the best we’ve ever assembled. So many elite names, and almost all are from top vintages. Blue chips like Ausone, Haut Brion, Lafite, Latour, Margaux and Petrus are represented today, but better yet, there is a fabulous set of mature wines on offer, and so many of them under $150 a bottle! In a world where Napa Cabernet has seemingly hit $300 a bottle as a floor price for the top wines, Bordeaux is running wild with incredible value. Time to stock up!

Speaking of value, Italy is also producing some of the most exceptionally well-priced wines. Elio Grasso is one of top producers of Barolo right now, and still remarkably inexpensive. Even iconic producers like Quintarelli are making value-priced wines to accompany their glorious flagship wines (and legendary vintage offerings that you see below too). So many other greats like Biondi-Santi, Masseto and Aldo Conterno all grace today’s offer. Don’t miss out on these amazing gems!
