Colgin, E. Rouget, Lafarge, Ornellaia, Ponsot and More!

Smart Spending

Hello Collectors,

Today’s list is full of smart buys, ranging from young Bordeaux to medium-aged Burgundy and California, all the way through red-hot new releases from Emmanuel Rouget, Il Marroneto (now in stock!), and 100-point Sassicaia. The offer looks a little different than most, but there is no shortage of quality from top to bottom.

There are quite a few wines here that I’m especially excited about, including the six-pack of Comtes Lafon Charmes, now at age 10 and drinking beautifully, along with another pair of vintages of Henri Boillot’s outstanding Puligny-Montrachet Clos des Mouchères. Is there a better value in Premier Cru White Burgundy? We’re also back with more Lafarge Premier Crus, another pair of wines that invite the same question. Don’t miss the exciting lineup from Ponsot, which is drinking beautifully right now, as well as the newest releases from cult Burgundy producer Emmanuel Rouget.

We also have a terrific lineup of Bordeaux, highlighted by Angélus, Canon, Clinet, Clos Fourtet, and La Fleur-Pétrus, all titans of the Right Bank. California is represented by standout names like Cakebread, Colgin, and Eisele, along with quite a few 100-point wines. Italy rounds out the offer with the aforementioned Il Marroneto and Sassicaia, plus a terrific vertical of Ornellaia.
