The Friday List - 5/3/2024

Value and Greatness

Hello Collectors,

Today’s Friday List presents a remarkably different array compared to most of our offerings this year. While you’ll still find plenty of esteemed labels, what sets this list apart is the abundance of QPR (quality-to-price ratio). Fortune has certainly smiled upon our clients this week, as you can stock up in a more budget-friendly manner. With so much to cover, I guarantee I’ll overlook something from the list below!

One of the key highlights of today’s offering is the substantial presence of outstanding German wines, alongside a cornucopia of delectable dessert wines. Foremost among them is the recent release of the 2021 Yquem, available in both halves and 750s, with a special offer awaiting—simply email us back to discover the exclusive pricing we have for both! Additionally, there’s a selection of Sauternes from de Fargues, Suduiraut, and Rieussec. We also feature a delightful range of dessert wines from Mr. K (Sine Qua Non), perfectly aged for enjoyment. As for the German wines we mentioned—J.J. Prum, Weil, Keller, and many more await your exploration. And don’t overlook my personal favorite—Enderle & Moll’s splendid (and remarkably underpriced) Pinot Noirs!

The hit parade of red wines is too extensive to highlight each one individually, but the stars include (though not limited to) a trio of vintages from Caymus Special Select and Chateau Beaucastel CDP, a quartet from Roumier, and pairs from Pegau, Guigal, Grange des Peres, and Fourrier. Bordeaux showcases some exciting highlights (including the legendary 2015 Chateau Margaux), alongside other rare gems from producers like Clos Rougeard, Guffens-Heynen, Savart, Myriad, and many more!
