The Friday List - 4/19/2024
Fizz Frenzy
Hello Collectors,
There’s a lot to be excited about in the coming weeks for Cellar Trading, and it all starts today. We’re kicking things off with a super-sized Champagne offer (one of our biggest yet) featuring some truly thrilling gems. Thankfully, we have ample volume on some items, but even so, we anticipate breakneck sales paces due to these truly spectacular prices.
Leading off is an exceptional selection of tête de Cuvées from the most heralded Grand Marquis Champagne houses: Dom Pérignon, Cristal, Taittinger’s Comtes, and Krug. We’re offering multiple vintages from each of these prestigious producers! This is followed by a wide assortment of Grower Champagnes, headlined by none other than Pierre Peters, also spanning multiple vintages. Another notable member of the “old guard” of farmer fizz, Paul Bara, makes an exciting appearance. I’m particularly thrilled for one of my personal favorites, Suenen, to make its Friday List debut. We also have selections from Emilen Feneuil, Savart, Ulysse Collin, and a broad selection of Larmandier Bernier (be sure to check out those ratings)!
Turning to our still wine selections, we have a terrific price on Fevre’s top Chablis of 2020, Les Clos, just in time for spring! White Burgundy continues to impress with big names like Ramonet, Roulot, and Hubert Lamy. On the red side of Burgundy, we have a small but mighty selection, including some aged Rousseau, DRC, and Meo’s iconic Cros Parantoux. The Rhone is well-represented with two esteemed names: Guigal and Rayas. And don’t miss our selection from the Languedoc, featuring some nicely aged Grange des Peres! To top it all off, we have Petrus and a pair of exciting efforts from Vietti, putting a nice touch on our thrill-a-minute Friday List!
