Simply the Best

Hello Collectors,

Believe it or not, these are some of the hardest emails to write. After all, what more can be said about DRC? It’s arguably the most sought-after wine in the world—but you probably already knew that. Then there’s Château Latour, a First Growth for over 170 years, and one of the pillars of Bordeaux excellence. Today’s theme is a handpicked collection of nothing but the best—more than a dozen wines with perfect 100-point scores, and plenty more that come breathtakingly close.

We’re starting under the radar, with a trio of gems from Keller, along with most of the 2021 lineup from Kinsman-Eades—arguably Napa’s hottest producer of the past five years. While we’re in Napa, don’t miss the incredibly rare magnum of MacDonald, as well as a quartet of Shafer Hillside Select magnums. And yes, there’s also a trio of Screaming Eagle vintages and a pair of Flight to round things out.

Switching gears from Cabernet, we’re also featuring a duo of 100-point Kongsgaard Judge Chardonnays.

On to Bordeaux: a treasure trove of profound wines, including triple-digit-rated 2022s that are in stock and ready to ship. Add in some impeccably cellared back vintages from First and Second Growths, and you’ve got a concise but complete Bordeaux offering. Burgundy icons span from excellent current releases to bottles with 20+ years of age, with values like d’Angerville and Lafarge, all the way up to the legendary DRC.

And if you’re into mature Rhône, we’re closing with a trio of Beaucastel’s Hommage à Jacques Perrin—just one more reason to explore this list.
