Burgundy: Simply the Best
Hello Collectors,
We’d like to apologize in advance if today’s offer causes whiplash. We won’t, however, apologize if it burns a whole through your wallet, because when you open a list of Burgundy’s blue chips that all come from pristine storage, that’s just how it goes. And not only are these the best of the best producers and climats, but also some of the greatest vintages in modern history. And if you’re a value hunter, there’s still plenty for you in today’s offer as well.
We begin with a trio of the most celebrated white wine producers in the world: Roulot, Raveneau, and PYCM. All three selections span numerous vintages and a wide range of bottlings. For the savvy collector, both Roulot and PYCM pack a punch with some wallet-friendly cuvées. Per usual, these came from impeccable storage conditions, so you can buy with confidence. Plus, these wines are built to age, with considerable life left. The only question is, how disciplined are you to allow them to age?
Today’s list of reds is like a who’s who of auction catalog regulars. Roumier brings some exciting depth, spanning from the Chambolle and MSD villages all the way up to Bonnes Mares. Tremblay—always in scarce supply—is also well represented, all the way back to 2009, and including an OCB of the epic Chappelle-Chambertin. (Don’t worry, we managed to clean the drool off the case first.) Armand Rousseau heats things up further, with two Grand Cru Clos parcels: Bèze and Ruchottes. Both will disappear quickly. Liger-Belair makes a rare appearance, returning after more than a year with a great trio of wines. We have a solid selection of Ponsot (including large formats) that we also rarely see, plus a great assortment of Méo-Camuzet. We round things out with several gems from other huge names, like Hudelot-Noëllat, Dujac, Dugat-Py, Cathiard, and Mugneret-Gibourg.
We’re willing to bet you haven’t received a Burgundy offer as exciting as this one in a good long while. And while we’re always working to assemble another, we never know when that will be, so take advantage while you’re able. Click that link or email us your requests now!
