All New & Different
Hello Collectors,
With less than a week to go in 2024, we are still pulling out new tricks! Is this a sign of things to come in 2025? We most certainly hope so. As the landscape of greatness continues to evolve and change, we are looking to adapt our offers along with that. There are a lot of very different producers in today’s offer (and some that are very familiar too), but we want to broaden and eventually deepen the mix of wines we offer throughout the year. Today is your first look!
There is a lot of tremendous aged German wine in today’s offer, spanning both sweet and dry. While we have offered these types of wines before, we have a much broader selection than usual. Great names like Dönnhoff, Lauer, Prüm, and Schäfer-Fröhlich, all of which have risen to great stardom and are all fully mature! Staying with white wines, the Burgundy selection is dominated by Dauvissat and Roulot but also includes cult star Arnaud Ente (from extra special vintages too!) and a beautifully aged Sauzet. Don’t miss the case of 100-point Marcassin too!
Another new offer- a Duclot set! This tremendous 9-pack highlights the greatest wines of the 2004 vintage, a must-own for any Bordeaux collector. Other top Bordeaux includes Lafite and Margaux, neither of which should be missed. There’s also a rare vertical of top vintages of Grands Echezeaux from Mongeard-Mugneret- an insider’s gem. There are also bits of Dujac, Rouget, Roumier (new price!), and Rousseau to make this a nicely appointed list of reds. We also scooped two great vintages of Chave, and the magical 2004 Rinaldi Barolo Brunate Le Coste- a truly special year for this fabled house!
