The Friday List - 12/6/2024
Fine & Rare
Hello Collectors,
With the holiday season in full swing, we thought we would stuff today’s offer with every great and/or rare wine we could find. We even cherry-picked it down to simple greatness! It took a little bit to put this offer together, as some items were sold out before we even got to today. It’s been a bit since we had to do that, but clearly, we are on the right track with today’s Friday List.
Today’s offer kicks off with three of the five first growths—Lafite, Margaux, and Mouton—and includes some of their greatest hits of this century. Bordeaux is nicely capped with some Petrus. We delve into the realm of small Champagne producers, which is headlined by Jacques Selosse. We follow that with a mini-vertical of Pierre Peters les Chetillons and a pair of vintages from Ulysse Collin. Nothing screams greatness from Champagne quite like DP and Cristal, and we have both in Rosé format.
The big names of Burgundy come through, with Rousseau going back 25 years, 25-year-old Clos de Tart, a nice array of Dujac, and a pair of beauties from Ponsot. There is also Mugnier and Maison Leroy, all of which are perfectly aged. We’ve also got some Burgundy for those in the know, with Barthod, Dancer, and Lamy Caillat. The list continues with gems from California, Italy, and the Loire, so make sure to scan the list closely! Oh, and don’t miss the mags of Raveneau!
