New Collection Alert
Hello Collectors,
Autumn always signals an exciting uptick in the fine and rare wine market with our clients buying, selling and shipping all across the UOVO world. At Cellar Trading, we are right in the mix today -we are thrilled to sell another parcel from this spectacular private collection from a longtime storage client. He has a keen eye for what’s compelling on the acquisition front, and he’s always at the forefront of what’s well reviewed and very collectible. All wines were bought on release and stored with UOVO since, and as you should expect, the conditions are impeccable. Similar to the exquisite initial tranches sold with us, this new arrival contains a range of highly sought Burgundy, Champagne, Piedmont, and the Jura and Loire Valleys.
The list reads like a who’s who of what is worth seeking out right now. Producers include rare Raveneau, Dauvissat, and Pierre-Yves Colin Morey; culty Barolos from Burlotto (2 100 pt’ers!) and Canonica; the iconic Jurassian Clos Rougeard; multiple bottlings of Prevost’s OG Les Beguines and the rare rosé d’assemblage Fac-Simile, 5 vintages of Pierre Peters’ iconic Chetillons, and Cedric Bouchard’s fabled and extremely limited productions La Bolorée (with the rare use of pinot blanc), Val Vilaine, and Le Haute Lemblée. Pro tip: don’t miss the exceedingly rare bottle of 2014 Côte de Bechalin (disgorged 2021).
Availability in the U.S. from these growers is typically minuscule vintage to vintage, so if you see a bottle that you’ve been pining for, be sure to add it to your collection today! We are also including a few remaining gems from this collector’s previous consignment – all highly rated and sharply priced.
