New Collection Alert!

Hello Collectors,

New collection alert! We have had the pleasure of offering this client’s wines in the past and have always been impressed by his gimlet eye for collecting France’s rarest cult growers. All bottles were purchased upon release and stored with us since, and this collection is a who’s who of who’s hot: Clos Rougeard, Clape, Dauvissat, Fourrier, Ganevat, Hubert Lamy, Jamet, Méo-Camuzet, Tremblay and more.

Well-represented in this collection is the phenomenal Clos Rougeard from the Foucault era, including the super rare and extremely ageable Cab Franc bottlings Poyeaux and Bourg, and perhaps the most famous Chenin Blanc in the world, the incomparable Brézé. Clos Rougeard has upended traditional thinking about what is collectible and ageable in the Loire, and we are thrilled to have a big selection of these incredible wines.

Next up is a 7-vintage vertical of Ganevat’s Les Chalasses Marnes Bleues – the Jura’s current superstar’s elegant and precise Savignin– named after the blue marl soil of Les Challases. While Ganevat produces a range of both typical Jura varietals and as well as some Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and bottles spanning a dozen different cuvées, the Chalasses bottlings are our favorites along with the 3 vintages of the super rare Les Vignes de mon Pere.

Finally, if you love Cecile Tremblay’s avant-garde Burgundies, we have a big range, from the villages Vosne-Romanée to Echezeaux. From starting (literally) as a garagiste, she has expanded her production thoughtfully over the last decade and a half. The wines, from village to grand cru, are transcendent. She is known for her extreme selection and inspection of the fruit and gentle but all-consuming attention to even the tiniest production details but allowing the wines to evolve naturally.
