Be sure to snap up Mauro Mascarellos’s rare Morissio bottlings – named after his grandfather Maurizio and employing his original Michét clones planted by his father Giuseppe in a part of Monprivato that he sensed was superior to the rest of the vineyard. Mauro then spent over a decade rejuvenating these two selected Monprivato plots in order to create the Morissio Riserva. Representing a through-line of quality and heritage spanning four generations, only the best vintages become the Morissio and quantities are tiny.
