New Arrivals
Big Names & Cult Growers
Hello Collectors,
As we unveil a fantastic array of new arrivals, I am thrilled that we are offering bottles that fit every collector’s palate, from the marquee names to the most limited production growers who have built their reputation on word of mouth from other savvy drinkers and collectors.
First, we have a range of pristine bottles of aged Lafite, Latour, Margaux and Mouton that together would make for an epic tasting, and if you own full cases of these wines (perhaps in your UOVO storage) it’s a perfect opportunity to experience how they are evolving without breaking a full case. Cristal, DRC, Hundred Acre and Méo-Camuzet represent more headliners, including multiple vintages of Cristal. For such a big house, Cristal never ceases to wow me! Don’t miss two DRC bottlings and a vertical of Wraith (so many 100 points!)
Turning to the limited production / flying under the radar producers – I’m looking forward to revisiting Mugneret-Gibourg’s Clos Vougeot at La Paulée’s verticals tasting this week, and today we have a range of pristine bottles from the Bourgogne to Clos Vougeot and Echezeaux. The sisters continue to be superstars of Burgundy and as always, their production is very limited, so we suggest responding quickly so you don’t miss out.
Next are Stephane Bernaudeau’s spectacular dry chenin blancs from his Les Onglés plot – hailed by the cognoscenti as the guiding light of Anjou with his artisanal, low-interventionist, and site-specific bottlings, quite a contrast to what Anjou has been known for in the past. Speaking of Anjou, in less than three decades Richard Leroy has evolved into one of the leading producers of the Loire with his own dry bottlings- today you have the chance to try both.
Finally, please do not miss Allemand’s standard-bearing Cornas and the absolutely wild Keller lineup! We so rarely have this incredible range of “German Montrachets” (Jancis Robinson) that you must throw these in your cart, stat, as they will go fast.
