The Sweet Spot

Hello Collectors,

It’s not uncommon to see really expensive bottles in our offers, which requires context as these bottles are fairly priced. Today, I wanted to make the shopping experience easier for many of you. We chose the perfect price point for our broadest group of clients and focused on the great estates of the wine world, along with a few up-and-comers.

Two of our featured producers for 2024, Kobayashi and Morgen Long, are both in stock. We secured some extra cases thanks to our generous friends at both wineries and an overwhelming response the first time around. For those who prefer to wait until the wine is in-house, your time to purchase has come. An exciting list of other domestic wines follows, including Caymus, Cayuse, Chappellet, Dominus, Dunn, Grace, Phelps Insignia, Peter Michael, Mondavi Reserve, Saxum, Scarecrow (M. Etain), Sea Smoke, Spottswoode, and Turley.

The Rhone Valley is well represented with Beaucastel, Clos des Papes, Gonon, Guigal, Pegau, and Vieux Telegraphe. We’ve also picked up some top wines from Tempier and the highly regarded Clos Rougeard from the Loire. Burgundy is prominently featured, headlined by our first 2022 offer—Domaine Robert Chevillon. There is a slew of great whites from Bernard Moreau, William Fevre, Henri Boillot, and Domaine Roulot, while the reds are perfectly selected from D’Angerville, Lafarge, and Rouget. After a week of Champagne, if you still can’t get enough, there are many highly rated gems here you should not miss! France is rounded out with half a dozen extremely well-known and regarded estates from Bordeaux.

Italy is quite packed in this offer (a rarity), with gems from Tignanello, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Gaja, Vietti, Biondi Santi, Fontodi, Giuseppe Mascarello, and Giuseppe Quintarelli. Germany brings some fun producers to the party with J.J. Prum and Keller. In case you haven’t noticed, there is a ton of great wine in today’s email, and you really can’t go wrong!
