The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru has the most detailed, exquisite bouquet amongst Caillat's 2023, with hints of praline and honeysuckle, wonderful delineation and focus. The palate is beautifully balanced, taut and fresh with a killer line of acidity, lovely sapidity and a touch of grilled walnut toward the finish. This could be Sebastien Caillat's peak this vintage.
