The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet En Cailleret 1er Cru has perhaps the most nuanced nose amongst Damien Colin’s Premier Crus, yet there is real complexity and distinction underneath a small veneer of reduction. The palate is very well-balanced with a crisp line of acidity, very sapid in style with shucked oyster shells emerging towards the persistent finish.
